1. General Provisions
The rules set out below govern the use of the educational platform Online School for Banking Professionals (hereinafter referred to as the “Platform”). By registering, a registered user of the Platform agrees to these Terms of Use in the version in effect on the date of registration. The Terms of Use are available for review at any time on the Platform website (www.osbp-ca.org).
Platform support and the provision of services based on it are provided by IPC Internationale Projekt Consult GmbH. Contact details are published in the relevant section here.
The Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use at any time. Users will be notified of any amendments to the Terms of Use by an announcement on the Platform. The Provider may at any time amend or discontinue the terms governing the use of the services, or replace them with other services provided on the same or different terms.
2. Registration Data for Access
To access the educational Platform or certain parts of it, the Provider may require users to register. The Provider determines the registration restrictions, including whether registration on the Platform is available to a particular user. The Provider does not store the user’s surname, first name, or email address in the system. However, providing this information by email is a mandatory condition of registration on the Platform. The Provider may terminate a user’s registration.
The storage, processing, and disclosure of personal data to third parties are governed by the personal data policy. The policy on the processing of personal data is also published on the Platform.
Upon registration on the Platform, the user is provided with a password for accessing the Platform. The user is responsible for keeping their access credentials confidential and preventing their unauthorized use (misuse). The transfer of access credentials to third parties constitutes misuse or unauthorized use. If the user becomes aware of unauthorized use of their access credentials, they must immediately notify the Provider and change their Platform access password. In the event of misuse, the Provider may immediately block the user’s access credentials.
3. Scope of Services
Access to the Platform is provided via the Internet. Subject to compliance with these Terms of Use, the Provider grants the user the right to post information and their own materials on the Platform. In addition, the Provider provides the user with access to various discussion forums and other Platform functions to the extent possible and consistent with the purposes for which the Platform operates. The Provider makes every effort to maintain the functionality of these features. The Provider assumes no additional obligations. In particular, the user may not require the service to be available at all times or to be provided in an unchanged form.
The Provider may modify the Platform or discontinue the service at any time.
4. Right of Use
The Platform is publicly available on the Internet. However, some parts of the Platform are available only to registered users or to a specific group of registered users.
Registration on the Platform is publicly available, and the user undertakes to register only once. The Provider is entitled to determine freely which information or services will be publicly available and to change the availability of information or services at its discretion without prior notice to users. Information provided on the Platform may not, in any form, be transferred to third parties, published, or made available to a broad group of people unless expressly permitted. Distribution of the Platform content is prohibited.
All materials published on the Platform, including images, source code, logos, graphics, and sounds, are protected by copyright or related rights and are protected under the intellectual-property laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
When using the Platform, users are prohibited from uploading, transferring between users, modifying, or posting information, data, or images that infringe the exclusive rights of third parties, including copyrights and related rights, as well as exclusive rights to an invention, utility model, industrial design, or trademark.
The user is liable for any infringement of third parties’ rights to intellectual works and means of identification, in particular copyrights and related rights, as well as exclusive rights to an invention, utility model, industrial design, or trademark.
In the Platform sections, the user may publish only comments (including a profile image, comment text, and attached photographs) that comply with applicable law and/or do not infringe third-party rights. If such a work is protected by copyright or incorporates a copyrighted work, the user warrants that they have the right to use it in that manner. By publishing these materials, the user grants the Provider a worldwide, perpetual right to use them by reproducing, distributing, translating, publicly performing, publicly displaying, broadcasting, transmitting by cable, and making them available to the public.
The Provider reserves the right to block any information posted by a user that infringes the intellectual-property and/or exclusive rights of third parties, including copyrights and related rights, at the request of the rights holder or without such a request.
Copying and downloading content is permitted solely for personal use in connection with participation in the educational process, unless otherwise provided by separate terms of use.
5. User Obligations
The user undertakes to comply with the principles of good-faith and fair use of the Platform. These include using materials solely for their own education and information, as well as respecting other Platform users’ right to access the Platform services within the available shared resources. In particular, the user undertakes to use online learning in such a way that the number of simultaneous enrollments (reservations) for educational activities (online courses, webinars, seminars, and so on) does not exceed four. Users may withdraw from educational activities when they finish them early or at any time, thereby becoming able to enroll in another activity. The user acknowledges that, after successfully completing a course and receiving a certificate, enrollment in the educational activity does not end and remains active for the entire remaining subscription period. If enrollment in an activity is made automatically or at the Provider’s discretion, the number of simultaneous enrollments may exceed four.
If a user has not been active in studying an online course for 21 days or more, the Provider or the Platform administration may decide to suspend the user’s study of that course. The course card will then be hidden from the “My Courses” section of the Platform in the user interface. The user may resume learning at any time by enrolling in the online course again through the schedule. Previously achieved results and course progress will be retained.
The user warrants to the Provider that they will not post materials on the Platform that violate moral standards or applicable law. In particular, the user undertakes not to post:
- publications inciting hatred against a racial, national, or social group;
- materials that violate copyright, trademark, or competition laws;

- advertising materials.
The Provider may block access to any information or materials posted by a user. Any damage caused to the Provider as a result of such a violation must be reimbursed by the user in accordance with applicable law.
The user shall indemnify the Provider against any third-party claims that may arise from the user’s violation of third-party rights. The user undertakes to assist the Provider in resolving such claims. In addition, the user must reimburse the Provider for the costs of obtaining the relevant legal defense.
Because materials posted by users on the Platform are not subject to pre-moderation, violations may not be detected and remedied immediately. Accordingly, the Provider disclaims any liability for the content of materials posted by users on the Platform. Each user is personally responsible for their actions in accordance with applicable law.
